Introducing Thermotec Yamaha Fmc Racing

After a several year hiatus competing in the Amsoil Arenacross Series, Yamaha has re-entered the series for 2015 with a new support team aboard their new and powerful YZ250F’s.
FMC Racing, owned and managed by two-time Arenacross champion mechanic Junior Jackson from Moline, Illinois, has put together a powerhouse team with the help of several great sponsors, personnel and riders.
Team ThermoTec Yamaha FMC Racing will be competing in the entire Arenacross Series which starts on January 10th in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Team riders include multi-time Arenacross main event winner Mike McDade of McDonald, Ohio, and veteran Pro motocrosser Bobby Kiniry of Patent, New York, who will make his Arenacross debut.
“I’m so happy with our team lineup,” Jackson said of his riders. “Mike introduced us a great sponsor in ThermoTec and we are real excited to see how he does on our bikes. We went through about five other top name riders until we finally landed Bobby and we can’t wait to see how the “Bulldog” does in the tiny arenas. We are really looking forward to the opener.”
Along with their two full time riders, ThermoTec Yamaha FMC Racing will house three pre-determined Yamaha bLU cRU riders throughout the series who will be competing in Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross. The riders and events will be announced at a later date, but a third replica race bike of McDade’s and Kiniry’s will be waiting for them when they are ready and possibly some fill in riders along the way.
“Along with their support, Yamaha is sending us their bLU cRU amateur riders so they can get their advancement points to Supercross,” said Jackson. “We will be honored to work with them and help them get to the next level in their careers.”
